Data Scientist

PHARMO Institute is dedicated to the study of epidemiology, drug utilization, drug safety and health outcomes. As part of Lumanity, a global pharmaceutical strategic services organization, PHARMO Institute studies the effects of drug treatments in real life to enhance the health of people using medication. In that way, we contribute to drug safety and are able to find unwanted side effects in advance.

The team are hiring a Data Scientist / Researcher who will be conducting pharmacoepidemiologic research in the team, to deliver on client project work.

This hire will be responsible for:

• Execution of assignments - carries out assignments (partly) under the supervision of a (senior) researcher. The implementation may relate to the development of research protocol, statistical analysis plan, statistical analyses, data processing, literature review, methodology development.
• Drafts – under guidance reports within larger assignments. 
• Innovation - contributing to innovations in one (or more) thematic areas and to the development of new PHARMO products.
• Acquisition - contributes to the acquisition of new assignments, development of action plan and quotation under the final responsibility of the (senior) researcher.

Specific operation requirements

Handling confidential information and complying with information security procedures in accordance with the ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certification of STIZON and PHARMO respectively. • Completed academic training in the field of medical content
• Masters the English language (word and writing)
• Knowledge and experience with epidemiological/RWE/statistical research
