Responsibilities / Position overview

We are looking for a Pharmaco-Epidemiological Researcher to conduct, supervise, and acquire pharmaco-epidemiological research on behalf of our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, data analysis, and client communication.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Execute research assignments independently or as part of a team.
  • Ensure the quality and timely completion of complex final reports or partial reports.
  • Collaborate with senior researchers and Operational Team Leaders to maintain high standards of research quality.
  • Actively and reactively seek new research opportunities.
  • Identify client needs and translate them into bespoke research services.
  • Prepare detailed plans of approach and quotations for new projects.
  • Mentor team members in less complex projects or components of larger projects.
  • Ensure project objectives are met in terms of quality, time, and budget.
  • Manage and resolve any internal or external conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize data from various PHARMO databases to conduct comprehensive research.
  • Leverage data insights to support acquisition efforts and enhance research quality.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative business processes and thematic areas within PHARMO.
  • Write publicationsand contribute to workshops to share research findings and insights.
  • Take the initiative in developing new ideas and coordinating them within the department.

 

Qualifications

  • A degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in pharmaco-epidemiological research.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English languages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using statistical software and databases.
