Responsibilities / Position overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director / Director to join our team. This role will work closely with executive leadership, organizational stakeholders, and external partners to develop and execute marketing and communication strategies. The goal is to foster long-term growth within the Strategy & Insight (S&I) global practice at Lumanity. You will be responsible for creating and managing both external and internal communications to boost lead generation and brand awareness.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Marketing Strategy:

  • Design and implement marketing strategies to position and differentiate the S&I practice in the market.
  • Manage and refine campaign frameworks, including ROI tracking and budget allocation.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns for new and existing products and services.
  • Serve as the primary brand steward, managing core value propositions and messaging.
  • Create and execute social media and website content strategies for S&I campaigns and events.
  • Conduct market and customer research to gather insights on competitor messaging and industry trends.
  • Assess and report on the performance and ROI of marketing efforts.

Thought Leadership:

  • Leverage internal subject matter experts to produce and distribute relevant thought leadership content.
  • Participate in an internal thought leadership committee to identify potential content topics and formats.
  • Utilize advanced technological platforms to improve the creation and distribution of thought leadership content.

External Communications:

  • Manage all external outreach across web and social media, paid advertising, conferences, and events.
  • Expand and enhance web-based advertising, email marketing, and other promotions.
  • Implement strategies to create a consistent external voice and expand our social media audience.
  • Oversee the design, content, and functionality of the S&I portions of the Lumanity website.
  • Develop a strategy for sponsorship and participation in industry conferences and events.
  • Maintain brand guidelines, key messaging documents, and communication templates.

Internal Communications:

  • Collaborate with S&I leadership to manage external and internal communication strategies.
  • Maintain and improve the content and structure of S&I-related pages on the Lumanity intranet.
  • Support the communication of news, events, and accomplishments by S&I leaders and team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Arts; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years in marketing and brand management.
  • At least 4 years in professional services, healthcare, or the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven success in designing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Experience managing a team in a high-growth organization preferred.
  • Broad understanding of the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, marketing automation, and sales analytics tools.
  • Strong ability to collaborate, develop relationships, and understand client priorities.
  • Effective in managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter with strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management, planning skills, and the ability to manage projects within timelines, budget, and scope.
  • Innovative thinker with a desire for continuous learning.
