We’re looking for a Business Analyst who can turn messy, real-world workflows into clear requirements and practical solutions — and who’s comfortable designing and improving AI prompts as part of that work. You’ll work with stakeholders to understand what people actually do day-to-day, translate needs into end-to-end workflows and acceptance criteria, and help validate workflows by testing prompts, and refining outputs so results are consistent and reliable.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Business process / analysis skills: quickly and efficiently understand a business process and how it can be translated over to and run from a generative AI platform more efficiently.
• Cross functional collaboration across a wide range of internal stakeholders and software development teams to build prime and prompts to support a wide range of use cases across a life sciences business.
• Understand the differences and appropriate applications for different Large Language Models (especially within a life sciences organisation) and optimize the outputs by establishing and using structured testing frameworks.
• Able to remove or minimize hallucinations
• Excellent ability to use RAG and develop optimal chunking strategies.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple modalities of data types
• Familiarity with data privacy considerations and the use of generative AI, especially with regards to data use within the life sciences and research sectors
• Collect, filter and refine data required to develop prime and prompts, as well as test outputs against
• Be structured and organized, able to ensure prime and prompts are well organized, accessible and up-to-date.
• Able to ensure prime & prompts and business uses of AI conform to regulatory requirements in the ethical use of AI.

• Excellent understanding of Business Analysis principles and methods.
• Research Skills: The ability to conduct effective research and analyze findings. Exposure to working with life sciences data and research content (preferred but not essential),
• 2+ years of experience with Business Analysis.
• Able to demonstrate a clear interest in Generative AI coupled with prime and prompt engineering skills.
• Exposure to agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban is preferred.
• Exposure to or proficient in the use of resource and delivery tracking tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira (preferred but not essential).
