Our market research Insights Team are seeking a Research Executive to join their mixed methods (qual/quant) research team.    This position involves providing proactive project support to ensure effective management and implementation of research projects. Responsibilities / Position overview

Our market research Insights Team are seeking a Research Executive to join their mixed methods (qual/quant) research team. 

 

This position involves providing proactive project support to ensure effective management and implementation of research projects. To conduct defined research activities to help build client satisfaction; assist and provide support in building client relationships to help drive growth. To coach Research Assistants and support work team colleagues and act as an effective Lumanity team member, with enthusiasm and creativity. 

 

The core competencies for this role include but are not limited to:

  • To own and perform specific project tasks, e.g. contact reports, progress tracking, timesheets, PO to ensure effective delivery. To provide effective administrative and logistical support to ensure timely delivery of tasks and to act as a day to day point of contact for research team and for client (where appropriate).

  • To understand client needs and contribute to the design of innovative research activities. To conduct 1-1 interviews, and participate in brainstorming sessions to ensure a professional and effective outcome for clients, and to show an understanding of project objectives within materials in order to produce good drafts of screeners, discussions guides, questionnaires & sections of presentations. To conduct analysis where appropriate and complete all administrative tasks in a timely and appropriate manner
  • To start to show an awareness and understanding of the commercial needs of the business and be present at client meetings, where appropriate. To also write discrete sections of proposals. 
  • To provide on the job coaching and feedback to RAs in order to help build their skills. To appropriately delegate routine project tasks and become a confident project manager. 

Act as a valued internal resource to Lumanity by starting to become a role model. Provide support, actively implement, and seek to develop company practices, shows appropriate enthusiasm, drive, and responsibility for tasks.    

Qualifications

  • Strong Degree (2:1) in any subject and/or professional qualification preferable
  • 1-2 years’ experience in research or professional services organisation
  • 1 years’ experience in research-based project support role
  • 1+ years healthcare sector experience is preferable
  • All round technical ability and broad knowledge of research methods and approaches
  • Proven results in project management
  • Computer proficient – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
