Senior Director, RWE

We are looking for a Senior Director, Real-World Evidence to join our RWE Data Luminary Consulting Practice. This is a senior seller-doer role sitting at the intersection of scientific rigour and commercial growth — you will personally drive and close new business, lead high-impact client engagements, mentor emerging RWE talent, and help shape the strategic direction of the practice.

You will bring a portable book of business, a proven track record in RWE or HEOR consulting, and the credibility to engage with senior pharmaceutical stakeholders as both a scientific authority and a trusted commercial partner.

What You Will Do

Business Development & Commercial Growth

• Personally drive and close new business to defined annual sales and pipeline targets (documented in your SIP)
• Develop pipeline through strategic client outreach, conference presence, and cross-Lumanity collaboration
• Lead proposal development, sales collateral, and innovative integrated RWE service offerings
• Manage all opportunities in the CRM system and coordinate contracting with legal, procurement, and IT teams

Project Delivery & Scientific Leadership

• Lead complex RWE project workstreams independently, delivering high-quality outputs on time and on budget
• Apply innovative methodological approaches across data landscaping, integrated evidence planning, and feasibility assessment
• Manage project financials end-to-end: set-up, time management, profitability, and invoicing

Thought Leadership & Team Development

• Produce thought leadership outputs — white papers, conference abstracts, posters, and manuscripts — to strengthen Lumanity's RWE profile
• Mentor and develop RWE team members, manage performance, and build a high-performing, scalable team culture
• Engage with data and research partners to expand the practice's analytical capabilities

What You Will Bring

• PhD (or equivalent) in life sciences, epidemiology, health economics, or a related field; MSc considered with an exceptional commercial track record
• 15+ years in life sciences and/or RWE consulting at Senior Director level or equivalent
• Proven track record building and scaling high-performing RWE or HEOR teams of 10+ people, with P&L accountability
• A portable book of business — existing pharma/life sciences client relationships ready to transition to Lumanity immediately
• Deep knowledge of the RWE/RWD landscape and drug development processes across Europe and the USA
• Strong commercial acumen, consultative selling mindset, and excellent communication skills at senior stakeholder level
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite)
