Senior Consultant, Real-World Evidence

The Senior Consultant contributes technical and analytical expertise to the RWE Data Luminary Consulting Practice, supporting clients in identifying and using real-world data and evidence to meet the needs of regulators, payers, clinicians, and other stakeholders. This is a delivery-focused role: the Senior Consultant manages assigned projects and workstreams, but does not carry independent full-engagement leadership or business development accountability.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Project & Workstream Management: Manages assigned workstreams and projects from planning through delivery, including data landscaping, feasibility assessments, and integrated evidence generation plans, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to agreed quality - without requiring independent ownership of full client engagements.
• Deliverable Development: Develops key client deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, Excel models, project reports) to a high, client-ready standard.
• Technical & Analytical Delivery: Applies RWE methodology and approaches - including treatment pattern/patient journey mapping, drug utilization studies, comparative effectiveness or synthetic control arm work, outcomes research, cost-of-illness/burden-of-disease studies, and real-world safety assessment - to solve client problems.
• Quality Control: Applies review and quality checks to project outputs to confirm accuracy and consistency prior to sign-off.
• Client Interaction: Acts as a day-to-day point of contact for clients on assigned workstreams, under the direction of the project lead.
• Team Support: Manages and/or coaches junior team members (e.g., Consultants, Analysts) on assigned projects; delegates work as appropriate and oversees task-level progress and quality.
• Partner & Data Source Engagement: Supports outreach to and engagement with existing and potential partners (including data organisations and research institutions), as directed by senior team members.
• Thought Leadership: Contributes to thought leadership pieces (white papers, abstracts, posters, manuscripts) alongside internal subject matter experts.

• Advanced degree preferred (life sciences, epidemiology, health economics, or related field)
• Approx. 4-7 years' relevant experience in RWE consulting and/or a related pharma/life sciences environment
• Familiarity with real-world data sources in either the US or EU market (e.g., claims, EHR, registry, or other RWD sources).
• Understanding of how real-world evidence is applied and used across the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., to support regulatory, payer, or clinical decision-making).
• Awareness of the evolving regulatory and data-related requirements affecting RWE (e.g., regulatory guidance, data privacy, and evidentiary standards), and ability to stay current as these evolve.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project tasks and workstreams; independent full-project leadership is not required at this level.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of the RWE industry, trends, and data landscape; European and/or US experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• No BD target, revenue quota, or existing/portable client pipeline required
