This is a perfect opportunity for a self-motivated Statistician looking to gain experience in the HEOR and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) field, having recently completed a PhD in the field and / or some commercial experience.    The statistician will use statistical solutions to investigate and demonstrate what would happen to patients on a new health technology (drug, device, diagnostic technique, etc.). We will support you with both internally and externally delivered training to enable you to grow into the role and further develop the key skill sets for this position.   Duties and responsibilities include: - Developing statistical analysis plans - Performing and reporting statistical analysis as standalone research or for input into health economic models - Contributing statistical input into reimbursement submissions for health technology agencies - Survival analyses (in particular, fitting curves to survival data that enable estimation of long-term survival beyond the trial data) - Indirect treatment comparisons (using evidence from clinical trials to form comparisons between treatments that have not been compared head-to-head within a clinical trial) - Analyses of clinical trial data (e.g. estimating patients’ quality of life in certain states of health) - Analyses of observational data/real-world evidence - Producing an abstract, poster or manuscript to report the findings of a statistical analysis - Participating in meetings with fellow team members or clients The Modelling and Analytics team have a hybrid work-setting approach.
